About Haley Walters Fitness

I had always been an athlete growing up and tried various types of workouts as I went through college, but I didn't truly discover my love for fitness until I moved to Houston in 2017.

When I originally moved to Houston, I tried my very first YOGA class and fell in love! By practicing yoga I became part of a community and had the opportunity to calm anxieties through movement and meditation. In 2019, I received my 200 hour Yoga Teaching Certification so that I could bring that same sense of community to others! I teach my classes for all levels by giving plenty of modifications and up-levels so that all students have a chance to connect to their bodies through movement no matter their experience with yoga. In my classes, you will see a focus on strength poses and alignment as well as a connection to your breath.


After teaching YOGA part-time for about a year, I decided that my true calling in life was to make fitness accessible to others. That lead me to get my GROUP FITNESS TRAINER certification in early 2020. In my STRENGTH classes I build confidence in my students minds and bodies through challenging movements including balancing and dynamic motion.

 My brand of fitness is based on being BOLD. Through bold movements we will test our minds and bodies and after practice be more confident in ourselves based on our ability to try more than anything! Tom Krause once said "There are no failures – just experiences and your reactions to them.". I am a firm believer that an open mind and a willingness to try new things will allow us to advance in all aspects of our lives. I am always trying to learn and expand my practice and give my students the opportunity to do so as well.
